so, these are my ideas of work outfits:

Work Day by Meet Jane Doe featuring Anthropologie

Since my pants, shoes, and bag are neutral, my shirt had to add a pop of color. I would've chosen any color as long as it was a deep, rich color. No seagreen, no cobalt, no neon yellow (well...never neon PERIOD). And I kept it simple with the gold accessories. I mentioned in my introduction that I'm an accessory phobe so I usually try to limit myself to two pieces of jewelry, unless I'm stacking bracelets or layering necklaces. Or the pieces are simple enough so that I don't feel like a walking Christmas tree.

Work Day 2 by Meet Jane Doe featuring Badgley Mischka watches

In this ensemble, the pop of color is in the accessories--the bag and the watch. I added a touch of sparkle with the hoops, watch, and studded slingbacks, which are being showcased beautifully due to the tapered trousers. Happy Monday!
